Banstead Village FC
Banstead Village Football Club was established in 2014 by a group of parents who had one thing in common – boys and girls of all ages with a love of football.
how it started:
A group of parents wanted to establish a team where boys and girls had the chance to play in a safe and fun environment – so Banstead Village FC was born!
In 2014
Banstead Village consisted of one team, our then under 10’s
The 2014/15 season was very exciting for Banstead Village Under 10’s as it was their first season as a new club. While the boys were busy winning their first league title, the club got busy organising and providing a safe and fun environment in which to grow.
In 2015
Our club added a new team to the fold, the new under 10’s joined the original team now playing at under 11. The under 10’s worked really hard to gel as a team and get to know each other. They ended the season with some great wins under their belts. The Under 11’s continued to build on their first season by winning the league cup and doing well in the first division.
The under 12’s went on to win the Premier League undefeated in the 2016/2017 season
In season 2017/2018 the Under 13’s (last years under 12’s) comfortably won the league in their debut in the Sunday Surrey Youth League and gained promotion.
At the start of the 2018/2019 season our club grew again with competitive teams at all ages from under 7 to under 18.
The club is looking forward to new and exciting adventures in the future for both boys and girls as we continue to grow.
